Roman 8:19 tells us that the creation and all its facets are waiting for the sons of God to take their rightful place, which is destined to bring all the subjugated elements of the creation, who were made unwilling subjects of sin, into the glorious liberty of the Sons of God.
Therefore it is our mission to, by teaching and preaching, actualize in the hearts of believers everywhere, the importance of their maturation in the things of God.
They (the creation) are waiting on us!!
The name "Manifest Sons of God Ministries" was first revealed to then Elder Lendow when he was still a member of Second Refreshing Spring COGIC in 1994. At which time Elder Lendow started producing a newsletter by that name. He and then Evangelist Alma C. Lendow continued to labor there in the vineyard under the leadership the late Superintendent Richard A. Bouknight.
The Scripture Basis:For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. Romans 8:19
Which is a very controversial passage for many who lack understanding but God revealed the truth of this passage to Elder Lendow and showed him that his call was to help raise the children of God up to the level of mature sons of God.
Elder Lendow continued in faithful labor until the call to pastoral ministry in May of 1999. After (13 years and 7 months at Second Refreshing Spring) The word "Go" was spoke into the heart of Elder Lendow, which was also confirmed by Evangelist Lendow. Pastor Bouknight was made aware of the good tidings from the Lord to which he gave his blessing. Elder Lendow was lead to finish out the year there with the Second Refreshing Spring family and to commence the ministry in the new millennium. On January1, 2000 the ministry was officially opened.
With a core group of (5) five charter members, the work of the ministry began, and the Lord added to the church such as should be saved. And not only working in the local ministry but the Lord opened doors on the foreign field for the pastor to minister.
The Saga Continues . . . .
I am saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost. Born again at age ten (10). Returned to God at age 37 and joined Second Refreshing Spring Church of God in Christ where I served God faithfully. I was initially called to the ministry in 1988. In 1989 I was called by God to the Office of Prophet, and later to the Office of Evangelist.
In 1999, I was called to the Office of Pastor My husband, who was also called to the Office of Pastor, and I began to pastor Manifest Sons of God Ministries Inc. in 2000. This name was given to Pastor Gerald Lendow by God along with our theme for ministry: Romans 8:19 (For the earnest expectation of the creature (creation) waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God) I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration majoring in Business Management and an Associate's degree in Legal Studies, each from the University of the District of Columbia.
I have a Master Teachers Certificate from the Samuel Kelsey Bible Institute Church of God In Christ, where I graduated Suma Cum Laude in my class. By profession, I have been employed by the United States Department of Labor for nearly 35 years and my occupation is Supervisory Paralegal Specialist. I have three children, Catreena Quick-Brown, Mahdee A. A. Lendow, and John Quick (deceased). I have a loving and honorable husband and one who loves the Lord, Gerald V. Lendow. I have been truly blessed by God. I shy away from giving bios because I have nothing to boast in of myself but it is the gift and calling of God and I give Him all praise and glory.
