Well, let's consider a few scriptures

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Isaiah 63:9
In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.

Rom 5:6-8
6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8 But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Just in these few passages of scripture alone we see the care of God in power on our behalf. He sent His only begotten Son to die in our stead, and not only to die, but to bear the crushing weight of all the sin that was ever committed, the penalty of all that we are or ever would be according to the flesh, He bore in his body on the cross. So terrible a penalty that God Himself turned and could not look on Him. Our afflictions, our sicknesses, our distresses and mental torment that resulted from sin, He bore. What Care....

Consider Romans, He didn't wait for us to come to Him He came first to us. While we we're yet sinners, Christ died for us. Isaiah 53 says that, all we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned everyone to his own way, a way of rebellion, a way of perversion and lust. But, Christ died for us. Does God really care? More than we know!!

  John 15:13
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

God calls us His friend, even though we mostly are contrary toward Him. The sad thing though is that, we have a misguided perception of God. We see God, many times as a cosmic bully waiting to pounce on the first to step out of line. Well, If that were true none of us would be around today. While it is true that God is a God of Judgment, His mercy always precedes His judgment. Which is why He's speaking to us now, "Today when you hear my voice harden not your hearts", He's calling us unto Himself, where the care and nurture of God abounds for us.

Won't you allow His care to be magnified in your life, that others will be able to witness and be benefited from that care as it flows from your life to theirs? Deep down you know God cares, take the next step, submit to Jesus and see the care of God as it begins to manifest in every area of your life. Please pray this prayer with me:

God, thank you for showing me my need to be saved, and thank you for providing me an escape from the penalty of sin. Jesus, come into my heart and be the Lord of my life, I repent of my sin and receive your loving sacrifice as my own. Thank You.
